A zombie is often a reanimated dead or a mindless human being. In the middle ages it was commonly believed that the souls of the dead will return to the earth and haunt the living. The zombies appear in several other cultures worldwide like China, India, Japan, the Pacific and the Native Americans. Haitian Vodou is a religion from the Caribbean country of Haiti. As a part of the Vodou religion they belive that magician called bokors can revive the recently dead. According to the tenets of Vodou, a dead person can be revived by a sorcerer and the zombie remains under his control because they have no will on their own.
